WINNSBORO TRAIN DEPOT

Years ago, the Hospitality / Visitor's Center was a log cabin type building on the Depot lot, at the southeast corner of Main and Broadway.  The Depot was eventually renovated and restored, largely with funding from Winnsboro Economic Development Corporation, and a parking lot was upgraded.  For a time, The Depot served as a museum.  In the past it has also housed the Small Business Development Center and the WEDC, and a facility room available for rent to the public.

The Winnsboro Depot building is now empty; future has yet to be revealed by the city, but good things should be in store for the property and community!

CHAMBER OFFICES & CITY VISITORS CENTER

The Winnsboro Area Chamber of Commerce is now located at the northeast corner of Main (Hwy. 37) and Broadway (Hwy 11), formerly known as the Newman lot.  This gives the Area Chamber greater visibility for their members and they also serve as the official city's visitor center.  The Winnsboro Area Chamber of Commerce was founded on May 21, 1957 and celebrated their 60th Anniversary this month.  The Chamber also serves as the official Visitors Center for the city.
